Been wanting to try this spot for a while now. Right off the bat, parking sucked it was $7 but with validation you pay $6. Otherwise you have to look for street parking which is minimal. Service was great! Once inside we were greeted by the sweetest server. She was super attentive and made sure we had everything and that everything tasted good. The husband got the blaze and he loved it! It has a spice that's hits the back of your throat at the end. I got the regular tonkatsu and it was delicious! The pork was our choice of meat and it was melt in your mouth delicious. The broth was rich and porky and creamy and dahmmm I could bathe in it. We were hungry so we also got a tempura shrimp roll which was delicious but your standard roll. The chicken karage was light, crispy, and juicy. Absolutely yummmm! Overall we loved it and would come back. But the $6 parking maybe not coming back as often.

Dropped in after an upright citizens brigade show. Sunday afternoon, packed, and we waited. Not too long afterwards we got a table for six and ordered Ramen and bowls. They have a very good selection of delicious Ramen. I had the vegetable, a friend had chicken, another truffle. Delicious. There was so much that all who ordered Raman took half home. Fresh and fabulous. I recommend it absolutely.

3.5ish but rounding up because our server was quite nice. The ramen was good but not worth the hype--the broth lacks richness and flavor I would expect from such a popular place. This time we sat right down but I've been here and waited over an hour. If there's no wait, great! If there is, then a different ramen place will do fine. I ordered the classic, which was OK--it leveled up when our server offered to bring a dish of the chili paste and chili oil. Definitely add these if you don't get the Blaze! I will say that what was a standout was the pork--they give you a big chunk, and it's delightfully crispy on the outside. They had a combo special where you can add on an appetizer for half price so we also tried the gyoza, karaage, and broccolini. They were all good, nothing mind blowing but worth a few extra bucks in the combo for sure

After hearing so much about this place, I had to give it a try! We stopped by here on a Wednesday night around 7 pm. The place itself is really tiny, and doesn't have much seating. It also seems like people mostly do pick-up orders from here. Parking is also a pain. There's valet parking in the plaza area where it's located, which was annoying! Luckily we managed to find street parking not too far off. The service here was extremely slow, and one of the reasons I'm not giving this place 5 stars, and I also thought the fried gyozas were too greasy and over fried. Other than that, the ramen was actually delicious! We ordered the blaze ramen, which was delicious but, not for me because the spice level was too much for me, but other than, it was really tasty! We ended up ordering the churros with icecream for dessert to help with our burning mouth and tongues form how spicy the ramen was. The churros were fried to perfection and went perfectly with the vanilla icecream that came with it. Overall, had a good experience here.

Very popular place in silver lake, try to make a reservation on Yelp beforehand to avoid longer waits. Many people seem to do takeout too. Food was okay, not bad but nothing amazing. But it's a very affordable place so that's probably why it's so popular. Don't recommend the blaze, the broth didn't really taste right. The classic is much better. The churro ice cream also seems store bought from the frozen section. Waiters were nice and its a very casual restaurant inside. Overall not bad for a cheap and quick ramen place. Was able to find street parking easily but there is also valet parking for their lot.

i've been going to silverlake ramen and their other chain in eagle rock/highland park, ramen of york, since i was younger and the quality has never gone down as the years passed by. although the restaurant itself is small, the environment is so cozy and welcoming. when i stopped by here with my friend the other day, we were greeted and seated immediately by such kind staff. we ordered the gyoza, chicken karaage, impossible chicken katsu, and the spicy tuna rice bowl. we literally devoured it and finished our leftovers later that night too. i will always be a silverlake ramen enthusiast ;) thanks so much for the fun night!

4.5 stars food quality but rounding down for their stinginess on serving sizes. I went here on a Thursday around prime dinner time, but I was surprised there were a few empty tables since there is always a waitlist (which fortunately you can enter online) for dinner, but I guess I attribute it to the rain that LA finally is getting. I got the combo - blaze (spicy tonkotsu) with pork and the chicken karaage for the side, which is priced at $20.50. On paper, this is a good deal in terms of variety, but what I meant by stingy serving sizes is that the menu says 4-5 pc karaage but I ended up getting 4 tiny pieces, and of those tiny pieces, they felt like they just chop 1 piece into 2-3 tiny pieces and market that as 4 pieces. Like I see the chicken on one side, and not battered all around, so they are really cutting corners. The chicken karaage is very juicy and flavorful, so the spicy aioli sauce on the side is very optional, but I still dipped it in for a kind of flavor bomb. I really enjoyed this, but again bummed that they decide to skimp on the portions. The ramen is fairly good, aside from one minute complaint that the pork is a bit on the fattier side. However, the pork is very flavorful and complements well with the rich broth. Blaze is spicy tonkotsu so you can taste a bit of the peppers even though I requested mild. The noodles are cooked to al dente, and the usuals like green onion, seaweed, and egg were of average quality. Service is minimal but passable, delivering water and checking up once in a while, fulfilling requests as needed. I do enjoy that this place has quick turnaround, since the wait can be very long otherwise due to the limited amount of seating in the restaurant. I was in and out of the restaurant in less than 30 minutes, given that food arrived around 5-10 minutes after I placed the order. This would be a great place for a quick work meal, or a casual dinner.

This was a yummy ramen place! It's a small place, so I wouldn't go with a big group, but I went with just my partner at around 9pm. They seated us quickly and we got a table immediately. The service was kind as soon as we got in. Parking was a little tough because street parking is limited, but there is valet available for about $7 I think. They quickly gave us waters, took our orders, and we got all our food in a good time. My partner and I both ordered the dine-in combo, which consisted of a ramen of our choice and then an appetizer of choice. The two appetizers we chose were the chicken karaage and the fried gyoza. The karaage was good! Crispy skin and juicy meat. The pieces were big too. The fried gyoza weren't my personal favorite. There was nothing wrong with them, but I definitely prefer pan-fried over deep fried, and wished it came with a different dipping sauce than spicy mayo. Maybe something more soy sauce or sesame oil based for the fried gyoza, but again--that's just personal preference. Otherwise they were good. My partner got the Classic (tonkotsu) and it had a classic tonkotsu taste, but a little bit sweeter in my opinion. I had the spicy (Blaze) tonkotsu, which was delicious! I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND getting pork as your protein!! The pork was delicious. The best part in my opinion, and I haven't had it like this at other places. So yummy, I can't get over it. So it's a pretty big fatty piece of pork, that is so tender! Usually it's kinda tough to get through any ramen chasu but this was literally buttery pork belly. Plus, the best part is that they fry one of side of the pork, so it has this crispy top that really pulls it together. So please, I beg of you, get the pork protein on your ramen. The spiciness levels are mild, medium (and a third level I forgot). I got medium and it was definitely a good spice! I'd like to say my spice tolerance is better than average, so I really enjoyed this spice level. My partner (who can't handle spice) also said he enjoyed it! It was spicy for sure but still had a lot of flavor. Yummy yummy. I will definitely be back!
